Steve Nicklas – Owner
Steve started ASI Fiber Group in 2017. After spending 27 years in various leadership roles at Altice USA he decided it was time to take a risk branch out on his own. Since that time Steve has taken ASI from a one man in a van operation to a full service Telecommunications company. Providing end to end solutions from design to a fully functional fiber optic network. Steve’s core mission is to provide the best products and service to all of his customers and through that has grown ASI to what it is today.
Chris Connor – VP of Operations
Chris Connor joined the ASI team in the spring 2022, and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Operations- responsible for the management of daily operations of the field and support teams. Chris is a trusted leader skilled in communicating information, motivating and building best-in-class teamwork, and devising innovative approaches toward growth. Prior to joining ASI Chris held various leadership positions during his 27 years at Altice USA, most recently Area Vice President of the Long Island Region.
Andy Massa – Director of Construction
Andy Massa is the Director of Construction. Since joining the ASI team in Fall of 2024, he has overseen all projects across Long Island, the NYC metro area, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida. Andy manages all aspects of our projects – from design to the final product we deliver to our customers. Andy has held many roles over his years in this industry, developing an expertise in both fiber optic construction and managing large scale projects. He’s worked at Cablevision, Altice USA, Charter, and his most recent experience was with Lightspeed Construction Group as the Manager of Construction for the East Coast.
