Steve Nicklas – Owner
Steve started ASI Fiber Group in 2017. After spending 27 years in various leadership roles at Altice USA he decided it was time to take a risk branch out on his own. Since that time Steve has taken ASI from a one man in a van operation to a full service Telecommunications company. Providing end to end solutions from design to a fully functional fiber optic network. Steve’s core mission is to provide the best products and service to all of his customers and through that has grown ASI to what it is today.
Chris Connor – VP of Operations
Chris Connor joined the ASI team in the spring 2022, and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Operations- responsible for the management of daily operations of the field and support teams. Chris is a trusted leader skilled in communicating information, motivating and building best-in-class teamwork, and devising innovative approaches toward growth. Prior to joining ASI Chris held various leadership positions during his 27 years at Altice USA, most recently Area Vice President of the Long Island Region.
Ricardo Ruiz – Director of Construction
Ricardo Ruiz joined the ASI team in September of 2020, and currently serves as the Director Of Construction. Since joining the team Ricardo overseen all projects across Long Island, NYC metro area, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Ricardo oversees all aspects of our projects from design to the final product we deliver to our customers. Prior to joining ASI Ricardo held several leadership roles during his 20 years at Altice USA, in several different regions, most recently Supevisor of construction in the NYC Metro area.
